I just never put any bass, any freshwater bass anyway, is the "strong" category. They have always been technical fights in my opinion. Knowing when to lift the tip, drop the tip..knowing how to hand the jumps and head shakes etc. I know smallies fight a bit better then largmouth but even still.
I mean pound for pound, a catfish, salmon, carp, sturgeon and so on of equal size would tend to have a bit more strength. Many of them simply aren't as chaotic with more big runs and right out bulldogged fights versus the jumps and head shaking.
Friendly opinions..no s*** starting here..least not on that front!

I normally will wait until last minute to post pictures but I want you to challenge on this! So, I gave you a shot to know what big fish to catch!!!
In serious side, It was awesome. unreal catch! I was almost laterally peeing myself when I saw this turtle surface! I quickly got kiva and toss to it. uh oh. you know what happens to sunfish.. chomped down! I set hooked! And landed it! Bring it my house and attempt to weight it on trash can since I don't want to harm turtle in any way. So, my scale goes up to 50 pounds. but it was ringed "OL" on my scale then my scale hook bend almost straight! (OL is mean overload weight!) Then I was basically screaming like little girl! from too damn exciting to caught this! Then I drove back to same spot and released her back! I'm not kidding ya! If there was a kid around and that turtle definitely will attack it! that's how big it was! Plus, it was barely fit in trash can! I had to squeeze it into trash without hurt turtle.
Now, Blackstone, tell me, can you challenge this? or

I'll be honest on here. I had been focus on smallies for two days now. But today, just went to my honey hole for largemouth bass. got 6 bass on 4 pounds!!! GRRRR! no 5 pounds bass yet! I'm still looking for it!! I will definitely get two or three sometimes tomorrow for sure! I plan to be lake-hopping!!!

So far so good.. I've banked over 20 fish this week..some of them quite nice.
This is one of my largest so far... 35 inches at 23 pounds and 12 ounces.
Well so far this week. Still a few fish left in me I think, though to be fair I did not get out near as much as I would have liked this week
