Just checked the App Store for Navionics and the iPad version is $49. Totally bummed ..... Good app to preview a fishing hole before hitting the water but another $49.

50 bucks on an app is kind of hefty. You can get a good amount of baits for that

Sure it is some money, but it is always up to date with their latest readings of the lakes.

Back to sales tax...when I purchased the boat, I essentially paid very little for the boat and trailer and most of the cost was in the motor. Of course taxes on the boat and trailer have to be paid. The point is that the motor is not included in the tax...nothing clandestine here. Pay tax on what you have to pay tax on, nothing more.

you know, i searched high and low and couldn't find that info now. i know that i read it, but maybe it has changed? google it and there is some more info.
