yeah unfortunatly you are the first one on if someone backs out.

we can certainly have a discussion on this topic, and i know it sucks for those who don't make it in.

but we started doing these tourneys as like 6-8 boats just for fun. they have grown so fast and everyone loves them for several reasons.

not an official club
no heavy club rules or dues or any of the BS, right Ed Dunbar.
we keep them small and run easy hours like 7-2 officially, so that weekend warriors and people that have to travel too far don't spend there whole day, and can still get some family time in.

we can have 25 boats if we wanted too, but then we would need to hire a police detail at the ramp.

so how do people feel , keep them small or expand them?

we should start at 7 and fish tilll 2, gives plenty of time for people to travel. if everyones there early like we usually do than we start early.

maybe do a few bigger water ones next year with a few more boats? that way there will be some cartopper, some regular sized ones, and some big boat limit ones.

OK TEAM HALO AND TEAM HAWG HUNTERS ARE IN.

I HAVE MADE ATTITASH A 20 MAN TOURNEY!!!!!

Posted Tue Jun 28, 2011 6:47 pm

not to ruin the party, but is there enough parking for 20 boats and trailers? i dunno how big the lot is exactly but when i was there earlier this month, it didn't seem very big as the lake isn't either.

As long as we are the first ones there we should be all set, there are more than 20 spots, but not by much. There was a tourny there last sunday and they had no problems, you can only launch or load one at a time, so if you are not very good at backing up, this would be a good weekend to practice. If you need leasons e-mail me or send me a message.

Yeah it says it holds nearly two dozen vehicles, and where an experienced bunch. So for this one if guys don't mind waiting we get there as early as we can and we launch when were in.
It'll work

now what is it, 16 trailor limit? or 16 team limit? Cartoppers take up less parking spaces right?..

NEVER THOUGHT ATTITASH WOULD BE THE BIGGEST ONE HA HA MAYBE PEOPLE HEARD IT'S A CHARLIE MOORE LAKE AND GOOD PIKE WATERS WHO KNOWS LOL

Posted Tue Jun 28, 2011 8:25 pm

Tournament limits on permits are on the number of boats.

Posted Tue Jun 28, 2011 8:25 pm

I didn't want to leave the other teams hanging, so 20 teams for this one. Next year we will take sams advice and have a couple of big ones scheduled
