I was going to have a shakyhead or dropshot but then I started imagining life without a frog and punching and decided otherwise LOL. The 3/4 oz jig gets the nod over anything lighter because I can get away with a 3/4 shallow and I could drag it deep on real windy days.

still thinking this out out but i'd say frog, drop shot, texas rigged craw / creature

Posted Fri Jan 18, 2013 12:41 pm

I would have to go with

1.) drop shot with a zoom fish doctor
2.) green pumpkin jig with either ugly otter or yum wollie bug
3.) has to be koppers live target frog

Top water - Frog

Shallow - Crank or stick bait. Leaning toward a square bill but could also go suspending jerk bait.

Bottom - jig with trailer

Only Pirougejoe gets to look in my tackle box Wink

1. Gray/smoke spinnerbait with gold spoons on a rainy day
2. 1/4 oz jig with craw trailer
3. t-rigged senko in the weeds

I agree this is one of the best post

Spinnerbait
Jig n trailer
4" worm texas rigged

Def. 4" senko the color would depend on over cast skys. wacky rig.
Also a kvd square bill 4-6' diver
And wouldn't leave home w/o a nice plug for some top water action

Probably: Not necessarily in this order.

1 - Worm (weighted or unweighted)

2 - Jerkbait/Crankbait

3 - Fluke type bait

JIG
SENKO
CRANKBAIT

This is three but there are a lot of variations that can be used.Size, style, deep, shallow, heavy, light.Different situations require different rates of fall and so on and so on.Happy winter, hum bug.
