OLDHAM CARTOPPER

I second oldham for a cartopper. If we can get into east monponsett again i would suggest that for a topper or bigboat. Whitmans pond in weymouth for a topper.

Big boat
1. Great herring pond, plymouth
2. Webster Lake, webster
3.Long Pond, lakeville

And Neil to reply to what jbigun had Im sure people would help you carry ur boat to the water with no fuss I can speak for team chasin tail and say that both of us would help you and any other team that would need help if there was no ramp.

Neils boat weighs like 2 thousand pounds

Big Boat:
-Mashpee/Wakeby
-Wequaquet
-Webster (parking though Mad )

Cartopper:
-Chebacco
(Bring back a couple old ones)
-Boone, Upper Mystic, Mill Pond Agawam

There is a couple different ramps at webster i know one has sufficient parking and my cousin lives like a minute drive down the street from one of them and they have parking for about 5or 6 trucks that they would let us use if webster lake makes the list that is.

No its a simple equation all those places - a few = last years line up?

Fished one with you guys this year an plan on fishing more next year.

For the 2day tournament would a place for instance say a lake in maine maranacook, anabessacook something like that be an option make a weekend of it get hotel so can hang out with all the guys etc be an option or are these strictly limited to massachuetts?

Maine only allows 6 or 8 permits per BOW per YEAR. To get one on the more popular lakes like you mentioned you must go to Augusta in December and attend a meeting where names of lakes with the clubs name are put in a hat and blind drawn. 1st 6-8 get em. A 2 day would be impossible to get.I LOVE the idea because I love Maine bass fishing but it is not practical. There are some other lakes that are just as good of a fishery but do not usually fill up. Would everyone be open to a 2 day away tourney or is that too much?

Yes that is how Maine works but it is not impossible i got a 2day for Annabessacook in february 2 years ago they don't all go the night of the draw. But like i was just using examples for those 2 lakes that came to mind could be Maine, NH or VT there are a bunch of 1000 acre or so lakes that would fit the bill of being good for bigger boats and if people wanted to use a car topper as well just a weekend getaway is the main idea instead of a 2 day a 1/2 hour away would be nice to go back have a couple beers and talk about the day with some guys.
