Big Bass

Went fishing for the first time at ponkapoag pond. Walked to the end of the boardwalk with my 9 foot fly rod. Caught a 16 inch Large Mouth Bass on 7 weight Orvis hydro bass fly line using a green frog popper fly. Was about 1:00 pm on 6/15/16. Weather was hot and clear. The fish was right near some lily pads.
