Stopped in here for a few hours yesterday and didn't have any luck except a few good bites. I wasn't crazy about the shore access, next time I'm bringing the canoe because there was some spots I definately wanted to cast a line into!
I might head over there again tomorrow if ur not doing anything you should meet me there. have a nice little fishing tourney since I know there are some nice bass there
Yea this place is great i live about 5 minutes from here
I fished here today for about an hour. caught a small bass and a small pick both on a shallow crankbait. but there was a lot of action going on at this lake. definitely gonna visit here again
I lived in holbrook, that was aways a good catching pond but alway told not to eat the fish. Big chemical manf. Plant up stream. Ponds in holbrook dont see much action anymore but last year the biggest bass i landed came out of lake holbrook. No scale but was 7 or better.
I fish here frequently as i live down the street and this place is great! Small little pond but man is it nonstop action. I consider this place my honey hole. Theres a couple of huge bass in here the biggest fish i pulled out was about a 19 inch largemouth.
definetly a pond to NOT eat the fish there is signs posted there and ive heard of alot of pigs lunking around in there havent really fished it myself
Access is somewhat limited but there's a parking lot across the street where you can park. It's an MBTA lot but they don't enforce the parking fee on weekends.
Be warned.... Nobody should consume any fish from this waterbody. It contains deadly levels of Pesticides!!! Click on this link and see "Cochato River." http://www.mass.gov/Eeohhs2/docs/dph/environmental/exposure/fish_consumption_advisory_list.pdf
