Spot pond does hold some huge bass. I caught my biggest bass ever there. There are SOOOO many crayfish in there which are one the best forage for bass to gain weight.

Long pond is in Dracut, there is NO shore fishing from this place you need a cartopper or boat, early spring is the best, summer can be hard if you try and fish after 10-11 am due to the jet skis and ski boats. wackie worm all day long!

for me it is White's pond in concord largely overlooked for bass
most people fish for trout there. It has a little boat ramp cartoppers only or canoe next to private beach.
when the word gets out that it has been stocked the shore line is filled with trout fishermen.
But for bass it is outstanding my biggest bass there is over 4 lbs
but the quanity is increiable.
It also has a deep hole in the middle of it for some left over big ass trout.
It is a good fishery for a very small water.

As for spy pond early in the spring is your best bet for bass also get stocked and heavyly fished for trout and the bass gourg on them.

Are you saying spy gets stocked with trout?

I don't think Spy gets stocked, I heard Spot does though. They treat Spy with chemicals to keep the weeds down, I don't think that would mix well with stocking trout.

I have to much crap to fit in to a yak and I think throwing a swimbait rod would also be tough but I was looking at a couple hands free ones those are the deal but not so much of one for those prices. Plus I'm looking forward on building a deck to fish standing off of.
