Well, between the big boats and cartoppers there are 21 tourneys. If someone is going to be in less than one fourth (5) than personally I don't feel they should qualify for the bottom 15, when so many others make it. It doesn't make anyone a bad person or less of a fisherman, but they just don't qualify.
I also think that should be for the overall top standings number should be higher (say min. of 10 tourneys by seasons end). A person who fishes less has a better chance at a higher average. A lot of people travel far and will make half or more than half. Why should they be ranked lower (even though it's only for fun, but there is something at stake now)? Just my opinion, which you did ask for.
