I actually saw this topic on another site and made me start thinking. Looking to see what everyone's go-to lure will be once the ice melts.

Unfortunately he may have to share his potential gold pin with someone else who also caught a 7lb 2oz'er on the cape this wknd.

You don't see too many of this after ice out!

Jig and pig is hard to beat in cold water! that or a suspending jerkbait!

Finesse Jigs, suspending jerkbaits, throwing cranks against any remain ice packs.... first natural cover should work...

Wanna fish so bad I'm ready to chew my arm off!!! Caught myself looking at the fish tank the other night wondering..... should I fish it or no.....
