Z-MAN hardlegs frog in either black or green pumpkin. i also like strike king zeros in chartruse or bubblegum.

metal. the braid will gouge the plastic and fray the line.

i have alot of hooks, but for a start i would get 1/0, 3/0, and 5/0 hooks that are ewg, and 3/0 ofset worm hooks. i like trokar, vmc, and BPS brands.

ill be out as soon as the water is open and we have a feww warm days in a row. thats only because it helps the run off of streams heat up and pull the fish a little.

its got some decent cover, the uper part of the lake is like 80% weeds and pads, and the lake has a few laydowns and brush. this is a great lake for frogs, toads, tex rigs, flipping and pitching, jigs ...

black and blue 3/8 or 1/2 oz jig with a strike king KVD or denny brauer 3X chunk. i will also throw 1/4 and 1/2 oz lipless crankbaits.
