I must have done something nice lately, because this weekend yielded another lunker. Only three weeks after the one I posted above, I pulled out another monster. This time it was a 7lb 4oz beast, caught on a Rainforest Night pattern Bronzeye frog. It was a hell of a battle getting it out of all the weeds. Trip can be found here.

Man what a pig, I'm out near Granby area a lot, I had figured it was too cold for topwater frogs, guess not!
sorry i know its unfair to post carp in here seeing as they get so friggin big but i am damn proud of this thing and it beats my old freshwater pb by 18 lbs! lol. 29lb on the button ct river mirror carp. thanks again to muskie for the great time on the river
that thing is a beauty and gotta be a good 9ish lbs 
dont know why i never added these to here because im damn proud of em lol. left picture is a 12lb pike and right is 13.47 lbs. the 13 is my personal best pike , both were cought very late night between 2 and 4 am after fishing for them overnight . both were cought on 4" strike king shadalicious swim baits in the same spot of the same lake a couple weeks apart. very shallow water and alot of aerial's and tail walking as a result.
