So I go almost 2 years without a 5+ and then get a 5+ in back to back weeks! Went back to the old green pumpkin soft plastic stickworm. Got this on on the edge of pads. It swam into the pads and I had to reach down into the water and pads to feel for the fish to grab it.
Finally got a recorded 5+. I've caught a few I'm pretty sure we're close or more, but didn't have my scale. This one I did. Crap quality photos extracted from a video, was on a yak at night alone so no selfies, but at least it's something.
Caught on 7' my veritas, which I JUST got fixed by Abu for free only to have it lose ANOTHER line guide less than a month in

Was rolling my jitterbug xl over some great cover. Night fishing has been a mixed bag all season for me but this night was a very good one. Multiple 3lbers a 4lber and ended the night on this guy! Feels so good after losing a few good ones and not having my scale all the other times.
