Went out in a different boat and of course didnt bring the scale. He definitely felt like he was up in lunker territory. Nice fat belly. Tell me what you think.

After a bunch of nice fish but no lunkers, I finally made the grade this weekend. I pulled this 7lb 5oz beauty out of a small pond in Eldred, NY on a black buzzbait. She was around 24 inches and had a fat belly that looked to still hold some eggs. Late bloomer?

I agree, unless I'm doing the catching!

I must have done something nice lately, because this weekend yielded another lunker. Only three weeks after the one I posted above, I pulled out another monster. This time it was a 7lb 4oz beast, caught on a Rainforest Night pattern Bronzeye frog. It was a hell of a battle getting it out of all the weeds. Trip can be found here.

A couple of pictures. I do wish I could get better shots when out alone.

heres a pic of my pb largemouth. I believe it was the first week of april, but i don't remember the exact date. I caught it at singletary lake on a 1/2oz blue/silver lipless crank bait bouncing it off rocks in by shore. I didn't get a length or girth measurement, but i did weigh it on my rapala digital scale. she weighed in at 6lb 4oz.

I caught two lunkers on the night of 6/3/2010, both on a black jitterbug between 11:00pm and 12:30am- the best night for both quantity and quality for time spent in my angling career. Here is a look at both. A 6lb 1oz and 5lb 6oz.

Awesome video of some great fall fishing- much enjoyed! I don't think I've ever caught a striper as big as some of those freshwater fish. Hell of a season bud! Maybe I'll try some carp angling in the spring.
