Lures - what's working and whats not

did horrible chasing smallies and largies is clear water!

tubes jerkbaits and pearch soft swimbait! nothing for a while!

then manage 2 bass at dusk! the smallie slammed a jerkbait at the surface out deep!

the largemouth hit it on the pause up shallow! fat 2.4lbser!

the water fell chilly

Went out yesterday for a few hours got 4 nice ones (biggest around 4lbs) all on plastics. 5 inch senko wacky rig and 4 inch chigger craw Texas rigged 1/2 oz weight. Dragged very slow on the bottom. All were in about 4 feet of water. Tried the spinnerbait , jerkbait and chatterbait for a while and couldn't get a bite.

I've found it to be real tough this week. I think on most ponds the spawn is in full swing. They won't chase a fast moving lure that's for sure!

Cranks and jigs are still doing it for me!
