Hey guys we have never been on the lake is there any water hazards we need to be aware of?

The launch is pretty rough, and the "channel" from the launch to the actual open water is shallow and stumpy. There's a submerged buoy in the second channel, from the first small open area to the second one. It sits a bit off to the right. You can sort of see it if you pay attention.
I haven't had a big boat in there and I haven't been out in the second basin/area. I've mostly putted around the shallow two areas in a jon boat. Lots of weeds, but I haven't smacked a rock or a stump yet. I would probably stay off the outboard until you get out past the shallow basins into the open part of the lake, although you could probably do no-wake around in there.
I know some of the other guys have had bigger boats in there, so maybe they can chime in on hazards and how to manage the god-awful ramp area.
There are no water hazards in the lake. It's shallow in the channel leading from the ramp to deeper water with a couple of stumps that pop up every once in a while. Keep the big motor trimmed up or use the trolling motor for the first hundred yards.
There is a no wake zone in all the narrows between each section of lake. Also, the lake is headway speed only on Sundays and holidays between the hours of 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
