I got the big guy right next to a large rock sticking half way out of the water. The sun had been beating on it all afternoon making it a sort of heating rock. I dropped a hack attack jig right next to it and wham. The other i got inside of a lone branch that was barely inside my casting range. Got him on the same jig. It was only like 36 out while i was fishing.
Went out today and got a nice bass 2.75lbs. Just one, but I was only there for about an hour. I took him from a spot similar to the big one I got Sunday. He was holding tight to a huge rock emerging out of the resevoir. I landed my jig on the rock, then let it fall gently off of it. He slammed it on the fall.
IT'S NOT OVER FOR ME UNTIL THE ICE IS COVERING!! ON THE 13TH A GOT A 2POUNDER ON A GRUB TAIL!!! I'M GONNA TRY AGAIN THESE NEXT COUPLE DAYS EVEN IN THE COLD SHOULD BE FUN!!!!
Hell ya! Me and mat, my brother, are goin tommorow. Definetaly bass fishin but we might check out some pike spots too.
