yea im going to make a tray on the inside of the middle bench underneath the deck, im just ganna haul leave it in the boat and run the cables from the charger ill probable end up getting an onboard charger eventually. funds are getting low. ill be doing more work on it this afternoon ganna haul ass to get it done cuz im definitely going out this weekend for sure or ill have an anxiety attack haha
The good news is you can do the work in steps as funds become available =)
Wonder how that thing would be with a 10 horse outboard on it. It would let you do a lot of the Cape/Plymouth ponds at something a bit quicker than the trolling motor will allow.
I saw a guy doing a mod on the exact same boat. He had put a 20 horse on it and was clocking close to 30 mph. Even half of that would be a pretty big increase over the trolling motor. Then again, he also had a bow mount trolling motor and all-aluminum deck/supports. Didn't seem like money was an issue there.
GOOD JOB ON THE BOAT THAT THING IS GONNA FLY WITH A 15H.P ON IT YOU BETTER GET THOSE SEAT BELTS IN HA HA IT LOOKS LIKE IT CAME OUT NICE !!! WHERE YOU GOING FISHING?? I'M GOING TO NORTON TOMORROW WITH THE PELICAN TO SEE WHAT HAPPENING HOPEFULLY SOMETHING HUGE HA HA
nice job. I'm curious as to how stable it will be?
I just picked up an aluminum jon boat that a welder friend of mine built. planning on doing the same thing.
