Not all scales are the same...if they have not been calibrated they are not worth anything...I have seen guys with 6 pound fish with a scale that said it was over 10...

You can always get a large cooler with an aerator inside it...just need to keep the water fresh and cool...

Both the 12th and the 19th works for me, just out of town for the 26th and the following weekend after that.

HEY GUYS...FOOD FOR THOUGHT!

I JUST PULLED OUT MY NEW RAPALA 50LB SCALE...JUST FOR THE HELL OF IT, I WEIGHED A COUPLE PACKAGES OF CHICKEN...HERE ARE THE RESULTS...
#1 PACKAGE WEIGHED 4.27lbs======RAPALA=4.2lbs

#2 PACKAGE WEIGHED 2.02lbs======RAPALA=2.2lbs

I ALSO FOUND THAT IF I TOOK THE FACE OF THE SCALE AND TIPPED IT AWAY FROM ME EVER SO SLIGHTLY, IT WOULD VARY 3 TO 5 OUNCES....JUST THOUGHT I WOULD PASS IT ON,
IF YOU KNOW YOUR OWN SCALE WELL ENOUGH, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO ADJUST THE READING AS NEEDED BASED ON THE DIFFERENCES IN THE ACTUAL "CALIBRATION".
FOR THE SAKE OF A TOURNEY, MAYBE WE COULD GET A READING FROM A KNOWN WEIGHT FOR COMPARISON, AS PAPABASS STATED, BEFORE WE DO THE WEIGH IN..ONLY FOR THE SCALE TO BE USED .

i might have two other teams with small boats. Also airrators in the coolers were fine as long as it is working good they will be fine.walmart has bubble boxes 8bucks each 2 d batteries i used 1 last time worked fine in big cooler, but 2 wouldn't hurt for 20 bucks. so the 19th is the date or???? let's nail it down
