two years ago I was at that very same bridge at the Chu. It was my first time there. I was driving by and had no plans to fish, I caught a few small bass right under the bridge. I gut hooked one of them pretty bad. he was bleeding bad and was not going to make it. I tried to revive him best I could. he swam off on the surface but he was going to die. 10 feet away from me out on the water he is flipping and flopping and bleeding. Out of nowhere a Bald Eagle comes soaring in from behind me and grabs the fish. scared the hell out of me. I have pics of it flying off.
I also had a hawk kill a rabbit 15 feet away from me and eat it right in front of me. We are privileged in the things we get to see while fishing. I have some of the hawk rabbit pics in my profile.
I was thinking you'd say a salmon or laker ate it but a bald eagle is the best. I love seeing them at the Quabbin

You buy it ill fish with you, you have to admit having my experience and my presence on the boat in itself is well worth the couple of grand you might spend on the boat, thats a very small price to pay to actually be able to post a picture and a report with a guy like me! Lmao
