Quabbin Reservoir 5-15-10
This was my first Quabbin experience and it was amazing. It was pretty windy and cool out but the water was crystal clear. The place is a little overwhelming so we only really stayed in a 3/4 mile area the entire day...and never took the life vests off. As always, I focused on bass fishing while Mike, my partner in crime, worked his go to all around numbers lure - the yellow rooster tail. I only caught 3 fish - Rock Bass, LMB, and a Smallie combined we pulled in everything including a rainbow trout and some pickerel. We both lost really big Smallies but it was still a great time. Can't wait to get back there.
