Lake Attitash 8/27/13
I was thinking about heading to Attitash with a buddy on Thursday. He hasn't fished in a while and I wanted to go somewhere we could catch a bunch of fish. My honey hole has been getting a chemical treatment every 2 weeks for the last month and a half and the bite is off. So I went to check out Attitash on a whim. I got there at noon. 80 degrees and only a few clouds. I start throwing a crankbait around the 6-8 ft zone looking for grass. Nothing. The only stuff I found was brown and dead. I went into the mouth of the river (I assume it's a river) and there was some greenery. Pretty shallow back there so I start chucking around a huge double bladed buzzbait. WHAMMY! 3 1/2 pounder. Thought I took a pic but my camera died. Good thing I carry two most of the time. Since I recently started to develop the skill of skipping a jig I decided to pound the docks instead of trying to find a hump since the grass was dead. First fish I catch under a dock is my biggest of the day. Around 4 pounds. Got 3 more fish and a bunch of backlashes. Still a skipping noobie but it's fun.
I'm on vacation this week. BAM!!!!
hahahahaha When do you work hjahahahaha O yeah that was great work!!!!
