I checked the freshwater report at www.goose.com some lucky guy landed a 5lbs 3oz monster smally.
That thing is gigantic. I could only imagine landing one that big

yes that is a nice fish indeed i landed a 3.3 at cook pound in fall river this year so i know there big there as well look at my pics and you will see it

Damn that's a big smally. I still need to catch my first MA smally. I've caught a couple of 1-2lbser in New Hampshire.
Only problem all the good smally ponds are HUGE so it's a pain to fish in a kayak.

i caught it off shore at cook pond in fall river the right side of the pond is great for smallies so if you get the chance try it i see people in kayaks there very often

where Stratos when we need him I know he probablly caught a half dozen over 5 this year alone

Agreed. He can fix the economy

Looks like I need to fish there.
Might go back out for smallies this Monday depending on the winds
