AHHHHHH I can't take it anymore!!! The only good thing about this weather is it gave me more time to fix up the crawdad. Check it out:

That cross bar was drivin me nuts. Much better now, I used the side supports as rod holders too. I just might get out Sunday morning to try it out!

If we get 1 more snow storm I packing up & moving SOUTH! Who's with ME!!

Thanks guys. When out Sunday morning to try out the new mods. Needs some tweaking but, much better with out that bar. That was my second trip out this year. Got skunked both times Crying or Very sad .
Water temps still in very low 40's. What depth are you guys finding productive. I've searched deep to shallow with nothing! Its gotta get warmer soon.

i've been out 3 times so far. the first time out we caught a lot of pickerel and 1 small bass. the fish were on a steep drop off. this sat. saw more pickerel and 1 nice bass over 2 lbs. this was caught in relatively shallow water in the weeds around the baitfish. yesterday was a skunk-fest but we found them eventually...out deep and at the bottom where there were some weeds growing.

so i think it's like the normal patterns. you just have to find out what they're doing in certain places b.c it's different everywhere. i wouldn't say i was productive b/c i wasn't at all but both bass were on reaction strikes (done differently though).

nice. like what you've done with it. i actually got the 14 footer through the bulkhead and into the basement for the winter. drove my wife nuts. took some maneuvering, but i got it in there. made some minor modifications and now i have to get it out. not sure how that's gonna work. i may have to take out the whole door jam, lol. but i'll make it happen.
