The nip ate my boat a few years back 
. I was there last sunday and pulled a few picks, I stay away from thee right side all together now, have seen many try and go around the island there and get stuck or beaten up. Never pulled any beasts out but a few 3-4lbs back a few years ago

got out for about 5 hrs today.temp was about 52 degrees, threw some jigs, spinnerbaits worms, nothing at all until i tied on this rapala husky jerk (4'- 8' perch color )this thing is huge! looks like something i should be using for stripers from a beach,but it made the water boil! i landed 6 bass largest was 6lbs 10oz smallest 4lbs 6ozs and 2 picks my buddy got 2 larrys and a pick what a day.
