I beached my boat, went to go help with the weigh in, and when I came back my boat had filled 1/2 up from the waves splashing over the transome:eek:

Battery trouble forced him in at 1ish and while trying to trailer the boat he popped a tire.

Posted Sun Apr 07, 2013 7:00 pm

today was the worst day I have ever had on the water, the wind was ripping 30 plus mph, batteries died by 1pm, had to paddle back against the wind, while trying to load the boat my truck got buried in the loose sand, somehow from spinning the tires I ripped the valve stem off the passenger rear tire, went flat, boat still in the water, no biggie right?? pull up and try to change the tire apparently there is a special shaped socket with a pattern cut in it (almost the same as a locking lug nut key) you need to lower the spare down, I have never seen this before, long story short didnt have it, had to have my buddy Jeff call AAA flat bed the truck all the way back to fall river, wait for kenny to drop his boat at home and come back to get mine and tow me home, the locking pin on kennys hitch froze that took another 1/2 hr to break off what a s*** show, just got home at 630

so....heres the results

weather 55
wind 1,000,000 mph
water temp 45-48

1st Place Stratos 5 fish 10.65 lbs and 3.93 lunker

2nd Place Cookiecutter 5 fish 9.21 lbs

Niel, sorry to hear about your rough day. Been there before buddy, feel your pain.

Great job Rich and Tony. You guys shouldn't have poked the bear in the off season!!! In trouble now! Good effort by everyone, must have been tough in car toppers in that wind.
