took the 2+ hour trip from the south shore to see what the Quabbin was all about. heard great things about it... This was the highlight of the 14 hour day...

It's a tough place to fish for sure

Will definitely be hitting the Quabbin this year, at least once!

I think of Wily. Drop the anchor. If you pull up mud, move. If you find sand, catch a 4 pounder. Rinse and Repeat

Yes, I heard great things about it. I wish it were closer so I could fish it more. But for me to get out on some good ponds its lots of travel, between working 2 jobs plus coaching college baseball... a weekend days off are few and far between but I dont mind traveling for some good fishing. I think I hit up the quabbin really late in the season but will be going back out there for sure this spring/summer to find some of those Larries lurking around. also wanna try and catch some bigger smallies as well.

Let me know I would love to hit the q. Aem n I were planning a trip before he moved to Florida. Never got around to it. We were thinking of renting a boat. Maybe we could get some of the muskie adventure tour members to join.
