I met with the okuma rep last fall on accident and he recommended a rod in that category. I'm trying to find out what set-up he mentioned as we type.
I want to try a swimbait as well.
I've been throwing a 7" MS Slammer on a field and stream flipping rod with a BPS pro caster and the bait is just a little too much for this setup. I've caught a couple of decent fish on it so far but nothing over 3 pounds.
