I like the trophy idea....that will look good in my Captain's room in the basement- Arrogant Anglers, I can see it now!
Another idea is to find a way to post a picture of the "Champions" team on the home page so they can enjoy the recognition until the following season. Anything to make it fun and add a little smack talk.

I dono I think it would be badass to have a trophy engraved with " MAFF 2014 cartopper champion" on it. With team name on it maybe.
Who says there is not one with" MAFF 2013 cartopper champion on it already"?

I hope you can see the guys here are having fun and making suggestions. Everyone who fished the cartoppers on a regular basis last year personally told me they enjoyed it and thought we did a good job and thanked us for doing it.
It's pretty much going to be status quo from last year with maybe no toc. if the guys want one, there will be one. Most guys seem to like the standings so they will stay as well. The trophy thing guys are suggesting is a fun idea... bragging rights if you will.
We will all put together a list of acceptable car topper sites. We can discuss how far guys are willing to travel . I think the best way to go about it is to put together a list of 15-20 places through guys who have fished with us in the past ( not just last year) and then identify preferable places and attempt to get permits for them, then go through the list if we cant get those preferred sites. I really don't want guys who have never fished with us helping to pick places. If they do fish with us next year, they can vote the following year.
Give me a week or so to complie a list, I will start a new thread and then guys who have fished cartoppers before can add lakes we may have missed. then we can discuss which ones to try and get permits for.
