One of the other guys that live out that way recently spoke of buying a second boat just for Quabbin. I told my wife when (if) we retire we are buying a house out there.

I highly recommend it. Moved out here from Cambridge in the early eighties and haven't looked back. I do miss sneaking over to the Fresh Pond reservoir though, there were some real monster bass in there!

We live in Everett. My wife grew up in Cambridge. She's a city girl all the way. Doesn't want to move too far

Does anybody use a transducer protecter? I'm looking at some and I'm seeing costs between 45-70 bucks which I find weird cuz I can probably get a new transducer for that price.

Shawn, my wife and I both grew up in Somerville. I hated the city and always preferred trees and woods. I have been trying to convince her to move south (Carolinas and south of that) for our 27 years together. She absolutely refuses!!

I guess when it's time for me to move down there, I'm gonna miss her! Very Happy
