I was there 2 Sundays ago and we just had to get there before the guy and drove right out didn't even ask for money but it will probably be different with 15 boat these pricks pork you for money whenever they can next you will need a special license for billing ton and little pond , there is a pond in Milton you need a Milton license to fish bullllshittt

I am one of the tournament directors for MAFF. We "had" a tournament scheduled on Billington sea for July 14th. Unfortunately we are going to have to cancel this event and scratch Billington sea off the list for a potential tournament site in the future. The $25 parking fee you are charging is extremely high to say the least. As a dedicated bass fisherman I go all over New England. I fish over 100 days a year. The majority of ramps and parking are free. I do run into some "pay to use facilities" but never have I come across one that is so high in cost to use. If your goal is to generate some income for the Town of Plymouth, this is not the answer. I believe you will find zero takers at $25 a boat. I believe you will find zero takers at $15 a boat, very few if any at even $10. If I may give you an example of otherr pay to use facilitys here in Mass. There is a pond on the cape called Mashpee Wakeby in the town of Mashpee. The parking is controlled by the town of Mashpee. They charge $6 to park for the day. Another example is the town of Harwich and Long Pond. they charge $100 but that's per use not per boat. WE can have up to 24 boats for that $100 and we can use the parking/ ramp multiple times in a calendar year for that $100. Thats less then $5 per boat. This in more in line of what I have seen from the several pay to use sites. A 3rd is lake Cochituate in Framingham. They charge $10 a vehicle but they provide a paved ramp and a paved parking lot for over 50 vehicles with bathroom facilities and they have park rangers on duty patrolling the parking lot and ramp area for that $10. Again if your goal is to generate income, your price line is going to price all fisherman out. If your goal is to eliminate fishing, the $15- $25 will do that and you will still be at $0 income.
It is my hope and the hope of numerous other fishermen and fishing organizations that the town will come to some sort of reasonable compromise and come more into line of what other facilities charge. I can be reached at xxx-xxx-xxxx

I like the idea of $25.00. In a couple years that place will be fun to fish again. It may also keep out some of the jet skiers.
So if you fish with a buddy that's $12.50 each to fish one day. That's a pack of smokes or a six pack of beer.

But 25 for billing ton is crazy they should give me 25 I have to put my truck pretty much all the way in the water at that place you have to kick in 4 wheel you still sink into the sand and you gave to deel with fifty people who don't speak English swimming and running around the boat ramp
