Kayakers of MAFF unite! In conjunction with the MAFF BBQ cookout and tournament scheduled for October 7 at Lake Shirley we shall have our own separate kayak tournament side-by-side the bass boat boys. Details about the time and location can be found here: http://www.mafishfinder.com/phpBB2/2012-maff-cookout-t6588.html
i think we should stagger times for this one and maybe only due ten yaks, sorry. i just think this lake is tough enough to fish, if we throw 30 boats at it, lol
Don't think I can make this one but what you guys could do is pick another body of water that is pretty close then head over to the Barbeque afterwards.
Staggered start is fine. We can start 30 minutes after the big boats launch. I also doubt that we're going to get 15 kayaks, that is just wishful thinking on my part, but I will pare the list to 10 just to make sure.
Guy's I am fine with any start / stop application as long as we get to finish 30 min after the big boats come in... or come in 30 min before they finish.... lol (see example below)
We could also start the Yaker's at 6:30 am to 1/2 hr prior to the original finish time as well...since we have to paddle in all.. heck it may take us 30 min to get to location of choice... and then a paddle return...can you spell "workout"?
WHERE ARE ALL THE YAKKERS OUT THERE, YOU GUYS SHOULD BE COMING TO THE COOKOUT REGARDLESS OF YOU FISHING OR NOT.
COME ON GUYS IT'S GOING TO BE A GREAT TIME WITH SOME GREAT PEOPLE AND LOT'S OF FOOD AND DRINKS, GAMES, PRIZES.
Bassmaster has been added; the field is beginning to build. I'm surprised we don't have more takers yet. What self respecting yaker can say "no" to free food? And given my recent track record you could pocket my entry fee just for showing up.
