yeah benny, i think its the middle pond. rte 30 in natick. its not that far from plymouth probably an hour tops if that that early in the a.m.
i think long pond is definatly on the radar as well.
how many people think we should do cohituate now and long pond later or vise versa?

I'm happy with doing Cohituate now. We can do Long pond in July or a cape pond that might be suitable. I just want to make sure that if we do a cape pond theres no tourney on it that day. They dont hold them at Long pond.

Yeah I'm up for that mikey, meat actually just had a tourney there last week. He's wtb the avid angler club out of taunton. They have one or two there every year. I've fished it too, nice piece of water. My only concern is getting some of you guys into boats. I know will who has a 12 or 14ft john boat, said he could take someone if needed I think, but I'm not sure how many more we can squeeze. I think we can figure it out. Meat is the master of fishing cochituate shores and I'm sure can map out a few key places for guys if need be. I'd rather have everyone in boats though.
Rambling again, sorry

My 10 ft. john boat is small of course, but it has comfortable swivel seats, ( I just bought 'em ), and since I'm at the stern, steering the electric motor, the better seat, which is in front of me, is open as of right now.

I suppose it's better than fishing from shore. I don't have a digital camera, and my scale is mechanical. ( not digital ) Anyone who doesn't mind an economical situation like that is free to PM me.

Tight lines !!

Pm sent Doug! Ok what we really need to do is work out rules. Are we doing Teams with best 5 fish or individuals. If you go to the "Back to bloody post we had ironed out some rules. Top of page 3 of the topic.

OK Mike's in with me. Last years rules would be something to refer to for this year.
Do we need to bring a grill or are they already up at the sight ? Does anyone have a charcoal grill ? We can do burgers and franks and a beverage. Muhahahaha!!!

very cool, you too can boat together thanks doughhay.
i have meat looking into the fees for the picnic area if there are any.

i don't think it has to be a digital scale as long as you can see the weight in the picture. i have an extra camera someone can use and maybe able to dig up another if need be.
say 5 fish limit, so at "weigh in, i will have a list of names and will document the five best pics you bring me in your camera.
and we will add them up and determine the winner. i think each person will have a five limit, not a team limit.

if we can pull this off with the park and the grilling area, i have something up my sleeve, so let me here from meat on the rules and regs first.
hows that sound, any other rules or ideas?
i don't want this to be all about the tourney, it's ten bucks, lol
i am more about having a good time

good call on the bloody thread,

weigh in at like 1:00 then we eat.
12" for keepers

Does sound like a good time and sure a lot of us can come up with some suggestions, count me in. Hell, everyone bring a bag of chips or burgers with them.

I'll more than likely be there, but if i'm not fishing in a boat i will not be there,I won't fish from shore in a tourney, even if it's a friendly one,But that is my problem if i don't have a boat,I do have one it's just in another state,Well we do have another month,so things could change. We definately need to get feed back from alll that will be in attendance and what not.

I'm a little confused. Are we not gona use livewells an having a weigh in? If were not gona have a weigh in we mise well just have biggest fish takes the money. Pic with the weight being shown an another showing the whole fish should do it.
