I bought my upgraded beings and drag washers from them last year.
When I called Shimano, they also told me that I could use mineral oil. However, they did send me a free tube of Bantam oil.
Heck, I should just keep using Ballistol. I have a lot of it, and it's what I've been using on my reels.
BTW, they also told me I shouldn't need to lube my spinning reels. Which seems funny because that contradicts what their online maintenance instructions say.
