Had a few hours to fish today so I hit my favorite place... the Concord River. Got a nice little pickerel on a Black Zoom worm, and a little bass on white Zoom shad.
Was about to leave for the day when I figured I should try out my big Boo-Yah Black Spinnerbait because I was successful with it a few weeks ago at that same spot with a 3.5 lb Larry.
Before I knew it I had a fish on. I was pleasantly surprised to see this BEAST at the end of the line! I was by myself so I couldn't get a pic of myself holding it, so its hard to see the size, but I did weigh it in at 3.5 lbs. I forgot to measure it but it was probably somewhere between 1.5 and 2 feet. Did I mention it was a BEAST?!
EDIT: Oh, i forgot to mention. I had a trailer hook attached to my spinnerbait, and lucky I did because thats what hooked him!
