I hear that Quabbin reservoir has some big smallies, but I've never fished there...

We used to catch smallies in the streams back home in Oklahoma, but they don't get near as big down there - a 4 pounder was a real trophy.

Quabbin does have great smallies. It can be tough to pick up a pattern, but once you do. It can be a blast! My profile pic is at the quabbin.
