Can anyone recommend a decent filet knife and let me know the price. Just bought a worthless POS Berkely Knife at Wal-Mart and the thing did quite a hack job. Tried the sharpener that came with it, but thats worthless too. Knife is as dull as it gets. Think it's worth getting it sharpened at local Bait Shop?
I went to Cabelas and grabbed a decent knife. It wasn't huge money ($50) but holds up alot better than a poor quality knife.
The blade material makes it worth buying a better knife. I fillet pike and i understood the need for a better quality blade when trying to remove a thin layer of skin.
