east monponsett 4/6

got out today with jamesd for the first time decided on east monponsett
water temp 46-50
started out really slow working the banks with jerk baits and jigs and got nothing worked some weed lines with no luck except for a pickerel till we found a great drop off went from about 2 feet to 8-9ft bang james is on the board with a solid 2 and half lber on a red eye shad couple minutes later i get a close to 3lber on a pit boss few minutes later james has got back to back giant pickerels on a jerk bait the largest one being 4.10lbs
all in all great day to be on the water and met a good dude ya'll better watch out we might be taking your money soon once the tourneys start up

Congrats boys. Sounds like it was a most satisfying day despite the wind.

Way to go we fished there Saturday and got no bass.Scotty got 1 pickerel.
