This is my first time ever double hook up a pair of large mouth bass on a single lure. The lure is Xcalibur XRK 75(3/4ounce). I was using a stiff rod which was not the best fit for lipless. After losing few fish, I reeled in slower not trying horse it. Then, I didn't feel fish fight anymore. I felt the weight like pulling a small log.

I've seen it done but never to myself.
It would be something if that happened on tourney day.

It happened to Kevin while we were fishing a tourney last year. I netted them. Not that big though

It happened to me in Mexico two days in row. Both times I was hot and needed to take a break so I trolled a Red Eye shad over a rock piles. One of them I got a 4 on the front hook and a 3 on the back hook. They came unbuttoned in the net, so no picture from them. But I did grab a pic of the other catch.

I did that several times, on largemouth bass, yellow perch, brookie trout, and bluefish/stripers.

Really? On a single lure? I caught 3 big eye sea perch (red fish)on two hooks. That was using 2 hook bait.

Yeah, I can exactly remember all of them. Two times at Bass on the dogwalk lure and popper, one time on Yellow perch by ice-fishing jigging (rapala lure), one time on brookie trout by small rapala lure, and four time on bluefish/striper by popper.

Hell, I had three bluefish on my popper before. If you doubt it, just ask my captain, he will verify that along with my father too! I don't know anyone who can top that! except using umbrella rig since that is not count at all!

If using umbrella rig, I had 11 of bluefish/stripers on it! No kidding.

My Buddy did the same thing on a jerkbait a couple weeks ago but all he got on it was yellow pearch.

Two Largemouths hooked in the mouth of a lipless crank is impressive.

Did it 1 time on a MS Slammer a couple years ago. twin 2.5lb fish. Thought I had a slob for a few seconds then they just gave up and it was like reeling in a wet towel. Laughing

i know what you mean. i've reeled in multiple wet towels or shirts on the charles.
