ive got probably 80% of my bass on a drop shot fishing it from shore. i was fishing a spot that had a steep transition from 15 to 20 feet or so. there was a school of bass that were sitting just beyond the ledge the fish were only in 1-2 pound range but i ended up catching 8 and my buddy caught 4. that was a fun day.

A good pair of waders goes a long way to up numbers of fish caught along shore lines.

I've noticed that for sure. I don't have waders but I will often fish in swim trunks in the summer and wade out there. Luckily i'm not always shore bound either.
