Concord River Bedford boat ramp open?

My buddy lives near the Merrimack in methuen. He said it was moving pretty fast on Thursday.

the charles has moderate flow in some parts, and normal flow in others. i have no idea about the ice but i do know the edges only have a thin layer down near the basin in boston. should be gone by sunday?

I'm starting to think I might be just staying in

There was ice, going out from shore 30', Wed at the Bedford ramp. Merrimac is running way too fast unless you launch above the Pawtucket dam. Saw the Charles today from the Pike @ 128. Ice on the edges, not much though. Good luck

Ice covers a lot going through Needham through Waltham too

theres definitly ice on the banks at the ramp in Bedford. Probably can break through it though. and dont run out of gas!! I wont be there to tow your ass in again!

Ha Ha. Definitely bringing an extra 1 gallon can with me. I don't see that we'll be out all day seeing the Pats are on at 4:30.

Went out Sunday no luck. It was nice to get out in the boat in January, this was a first. Bam and I fished from 8 till about noon nothing. Through everything in the book still nothing but stink.
Just praying for spring around the corner.
