i bought a clear zara spook the other day. im thinkin it would be good for night fishing

why are some lures completely clear?

I think dark is better then clear for top water... especially where most water around here is stained.

yea lots of spots have stained water. i bought it up in NH thinkin it would be good for clear water night fishing

BLACK COLOR is the best for night fishing! Hand down! Any lures that have black.... they will get bites! Some of my biggest fish of year was caught on black color during night! some of them was huge that popped black lure off! You know what I felt at that night!!!

you already witnessed how I fish with black color..

Keep it quiet on which black lure!!!! orwise I'll ya!

Clear lures from what i heard are for clear water finicky fish. At night you want the opposite. Like said above black and other solid colors work good. Black and white i heard can be winners for the night bite.

I think a lot of crankbaits started w/ clear shell , it's a good lure to try some funky colors. I use paint like a third grader bu't I always doctor up my chipped lures w/ paint. Sometimes I use my wife's fingertnail polish. Reds seem to work well.
