One thing I noticed today is that a lot of the fish seem to lose interest on their way to the bait. I would see the wake from the fish charging the frog and anticipate the explosion and then nothing would happen. I would stop cranking and deadstick the frog but they weren't interested in that either. I'll keep plugging away at it Exclamation Laughing

Mentioned this before, it pretty much kills the thrill of the frog 'BLAST' ,but if you miss with the frog, pitch back an unweighted Senko (size per fish you expect) and then bask in the glory of the catch. I do this all the time with large (10+ inch snake lures) that are dang near impossible to get a hook up on.
