We use to leave a camper and boats at Peters Pond. They have a ramp in the campground that is good with average water levels. There is also a DCR ramp on the far side of the lake. Fishing in PP pond can be good but lots of pleasure craft in the afternoons. Mashpee-Wakeby, Johns Pond and Ashumet are all within 10-15 minutes. The campground changed ownership a few years back so not sure how it is now.

I use to camp at Nickerson state park. Brought a boat and it had a nice pond very close. Sorry for not being more specific. It's been a long time. Good luck
