My self. I use tubes alot. However I always go wieghtless. I find much better action especially tje first cast just let it fall nautrually. I have had more bass using this method.

I like using a small split shot above a Texas rigged tube.
The tube will either sink very slowly or it will float above the weights and stay in the strike zone longer.
I'm going to try a piece of cork in it to make sure it stays above the split shot

Like everyone else, I fish a tube differently depending on the situation. But this year I have tried fishing it weightless. It's a great finesse technique when the fish are in a negative mood. It falls really slowly with subtle action, the smallmouth seem to love it. trokar makes a tube hook that is perfect for fishing it weightless
