get a revo gen 3 STX. it's well worth the extra 30-40 above your budget. the jump in quality between models is worth it.

i got a black max combo. im still new to bait casting. 80bucks
great reel for a begginer. the one problem i have is that the spool fell into the water after i snapped my line in a tree. couldnt get it back. but the was 1 of 2 i own.
i use it for flippin with 20lbs braid

I can't even imagine how that happened

If I had to guess when he pulled the line to break it he cracked the axel of the spool and the spool was then free floating and fell.

I have an Abu Garcia Revo STX. It's my first baitcaster so it took a little getting used to. But once I did, I love it. Great reel and worth the $

keep checking BBC. they go fast on there but you can find great deals.
