Anyone else heading out on the water this weekend?

Ill be going to nippenicket with my buddy Chris Sunday morning for our first outing wondering if anyone wanted to join and fish for some bragging rights for the day Cool let me know

i went to a pond in newton, MA today. 95% ice free. water was a frigid 40 degrees. a lot of dead leaves and debris at the bottom, not much else. we caught 2 pickerel (one was about 3-3.5 pounds), 1 fat yellow perch, and 1 bass. most fish caught shaking the drop shot.

Went out Sunday from 1:30 to 3:30. I was cold & sunny. Located some fish on my fishfinder but no takers. More cold weather this week is gonna help!!

Fallentimber and I went out on one of our favorite ponds in central, ma. Launched the boat around 9am after circling the place several times Fallentimber got a 1lber in the boat on a beetle spin. Then about an hour later I got a 2lber in the boat on a 1.5' square bill crank. Called it quits at 3. Still great to be on the water!

Care to share the pond that you hit up? I'm new to freshwater fishing and I am looking for some good spots in central mass.

Would be appreciated.
