You're actually in trouble because I know Evan's key spots and I already warned him I plan to hit them!! No avoiding the good Evan locations this year... gunning for the champ.

12 boats in this place is gunna be fun. If you follow the 50 yard rule you won't be able to cast for the better part of the day.

50 yards when anchored,25 yards when trolling .

Guys, even though I am not participating in this event, I have to give advice as a former TD last year, when it comes to parking any trailors.

This is for those fishing out of aircraft carriers or boats that are being trailored in only. Obviously vehicles that are by themselves with the boat on top don't apply. When parking your vehicle and trailor, you should back the trailor on to the grass closest to the water, leaving your vehicle in a regular hard top parking space directly in front of it. That way you don't block the parking lot and the flow of traffic will not be impaired. It gets busy there during the day, especially if it's nice out. You'll see what I mean when you get there. We got some complaints last year and we want to be able to return without any issues next year or the next time.

Hope I didn't step on anybody's toes by posting this? Just thought of it now. Good luck to those participating!

yeh some guy went nuts last year. he was screaming at all the boats out on the water about the way the trailers were parked.

Dont use the middle spots for trailers.

He walked up and down the shoreline, yelling out at the boats and anyone else who would listen on the shore!

I think I know who it was. There's a guy that sits in his car at the ramp and gets plastered. One day he got out and started to tell me where the salmon were. Even though I told him I only bass fish (he told me there weren't any bass). As I was going down the shoreline he was following me yelling that I should go past the island. I was getting pissed. Almost called the cops. Then I hooked up with a bass and he started cheering and clapping like he was at a hockey game and I just scored. I held it up and said see? Bass! Then he went back to drinking
