All I hear is that this is a killer place year round. Way easier launch and setup than Billington. I am planning on starting to hit there in the cold months...

what do you guys think about a 6am start this year fish till 2pm

i think we have a hard enough time getting everyone there at 7:00, lol. maybe 7:00 in spring and fall and 6:00 in the summer when it's warmer and light earlier?

I really don't fish these..though I may try to pop in to one or two this year but I would say stick to 7 am..

It has been my experience with many of the places I fish being over an hour or so away I usually get on the water around 7...this means I typically get up at 4 30 am, eat some food, make sure everything is packed and get on the road by 5-530. this puts me at my spot an hour or an hour an a half later so roughly 630-7 am. If I had to be at the spot by 6 then I'd be up at 3 or 330 am..not worth it in my opinion..I might as well fish over night at that point.

What I'm saying is for anyone who would have to travel to hit a tourney it would be a pain in the butt. a start of 7 would seem better..if people want to arrive early they can and get their boat in the water etc..just no fishing till 7.

Smoke, I know I have my 1st club tourney on 4/23/11. So if that date stays the same I wont be able to make it.

not a bad idea. i'd go with either 6 or 7 but this is a good compromise and definitely makes sense. earlier is usually better fishing in the summer too.

Let's split it 6:30?
What's the rule if your not there on time for next year?

Then you have to buy pizzas for everyone, but only if you or your family owns a pizza shop! Very Happy
