I can safely say that Flint is not my favorite place to fish =)
Cabin Fever spent a good chunk of the day in the back bay of Flint. We picked up 3 of our fish in there early, and missed another three or so on terrible hooksets. We left there since we got bored with the endless expanse of 2 feet muck bottom water.
The rest of Flint wasn't much better. We picked up our last fish off the rock wall side of one of the islands in the top of Flint. In hindsight, we should have either rolled out to the main lake, or stayed in the back and grinded it out for the last two fish.
Good job to all who found limits, and congrats to Happy Hookers on a nice bag!

What a day Haha. Bigmouths had an hour late start and short lived calm weather, but just because it was warm and the rain wasn't freezing we had a s@#$ good time we caught a lot of fish but seemed to all be small. We got our limit fairly quickly once we picked up our pattern but couldnt get the big ones. Congrats o the hookers! Sweet fish! Bigmouths are sitting out for the cartopper tourney but.should be there for watuppa we want to fish our honey holes for a few weeks. See you guys then!
Maybe we shoulda went with a popper or something ???we threw everything jig,worm,spinner,crank,all types of soft plastics even frogs and we only got some lil guys maybe we shoulda thrown some spoons out unreal!!!. idk i'm stumped we got our 5 at flint last year and this year was like a mystery for us!!! got a few hits but nothin good out of it. What was everyone else hitting them on????I heard of a few on worms and jigs seen a few zara spooks out there idk what was happening i was thinking about trying to catch carp after such a shitty day for us!!!!lol congrats to those who figured it out cuz i had no clue boys very dismal day for me lol

haha it was brutal man. so far this year i've refused to use the senko as much as possible but unfortunately, i busted it out yesterday. first keeper i caught was actually on the topwater - lucky craft sammy. 2nd was on a zoom fish doctor (stick bait). the last one was during the downpour when everyone was running back in from the main lake. i gave up and put the senko on and caught one right after we saw you and when chuck and mark were going by as we all got soaked to top off the day.
and tried to shake it by the AM, but it wasnt happening.
